 I recognize that patients have often been harmed by an uncaring medical system and see how racism and oppression impact mental and physical health. My approach centers on understanding patients’ full stories and experiences, offering healing strategies through an antiracist lens. Outside of patient care, I am an advocate and activist, teaching antiracist psychiatry to fellow mental health professionals.
